Hello! My name is Syderah and I’m an acrylic painter! My love for acrylic painting began during my freshman year of high school when I took my first art class at 14 years old. Since then, painting has become both my passion and my therapy; a place where I can completely lose myself in the world I'm creating on the canvas. There's a feeling I get when that first brushstroke hits a blank canvas. It's almost like a high. Then comes the bittersweet feeling when a painting is finally complete... and somehow, I'm always ready to chase that feeling of the first brushstroke all over again. My talent is God-given, but my "why” is my two girls, Sorayah and Harli. There’s something intentional you’ll notice about my work: the faces are left blank. I do this so that you, the viewer, can see yourself, or someone you love, in the people on the canvas rather than simply seeing a stranger.
