Astra Tempest

I like to blend the magic of living on the Space Coast, sometimes capturing the real vivid color landscapes that I see, with a slight fluorescent edge that doesn’t require special lighting to be appreciated. Usually coastal scenes, Black Point Drive, or pre-development Florida. I also play with blending galaxies and nebulas into the waves for a more surrealism feel, and local wildlife that may be overlooked. I also do portraits, surreal human figures with bright colors, fairies, even the macabre. Finally, I sell a series of hand painted nutcrackers, mostly with a slight drag queen feel, holiday themed or everyday decor for quirky tastes, sometimes making them clothes or attaching sparkly accessories. I sell prints, hand painted canvas magnets, and other gift items like coasters and small boxes or trays.
