About VendorsMap

What is VendorsMap?

+

VendorsMap is a map-first vendor community that helps artisan vendors, farmers, food producers, crafters, and food truck operators find places to sell. It lists 13,700+ farmers markets, craft fairs, festivals, and pop-up events across all 50 US states plus Washington DC and every Canadian province and territory, along with 690+ consignment stores that accept handmade goods.

How much does VendorsMap cost?

+

Membership is $40 per year for vendors and grants full access to the directory, organizer contact info, application deadlines, a weekly digest of newly matching events with AI-drafted starter answers, and member alerts. Anyone can browse 7 events per month for free before being asked to join. Membership is a tax-deductible business expense for self-employed vendors. Event organizers can list events for free; if they choose to collect booth payments through Stripe Connect, a 4% platform fee applies on the transaction.

What if I don't get value from membership? Is there a refund?

+

Yes. If you don't find at least one event worth applying to in your first 30 days as a member, email james@vendorsmap.com and we will refund your membership in full. No forms, no questions, no exit interview. We charge to keep the platform running, not to lock people in to something they don't use.

How do I cancel my membership?

+

Two ways. The fastest is to log in, go to your dashboard Settings, and click Manage Membership — that opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel in two clicks. Cancelling stops the next renewal but you keep full access through the end of your paid year. You can also email james@vendorsmap.com and we will cancel for you.

Which regions does VendorsMap cover?

+

All 50 US states plus Washington DC, and every Canadian province and territory. US coverage is deepest in California, New York, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, Georgia, and North Carolina; Canadian coverage is strongest in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, and the Atlantic provinces. Every state and province has events listed and more are added every week.

Who runs VendorsMap?

+

VendorsMap is operated by Livingtech LLC. It started as a New England farmers market and craft fair directory and expanded across the US and Canada based on demand from vendors.

For vendors

How do I find farmers markets or craft fairs near me?

+

Open the interactive map at vendorsmap.com/map, allow location access or enter a zip code, and browse the pins near you. You can filter by event type (farmers market, craft fair, festival, pop-up), date range, fee, and whether food trucks are welcome. Click any pin to see full event details, deadlines, and how to apply.

How do I apply to events on VendorsMap?

+

Some events let you apply directly on VendorsMap with a single application profile. The Apply Here badge on the map indicates this. For events that use their own application system, VendorsMap links out to the organizer's application page. Either way, browsing and finding events is free.

Do I need an account to browse events?

+

No. Anyone can browse the map, search events, and see event details without signing up. You only need a free account if you want to save events, get notified when new events appear in your area, or apply to events that use the platform's built-in application system.

Can food truck operators use VendorsMap?

+

Yes. VendorsMap has dedicated support for food trucks. You can filter the map to show only events that welcome food trucks, and events can list how many food truck slots are available.

How do I get notified when new events are added near me?

+

Create a free vendor account and set your home location. VendorsMap sends plain-text email alerts when new events matching your location and interests are approved on the platform.

Can I sell handmade goods through a consignment store?

+

Yes. VendorsMap has a directory of 690+ consignment stores that accept handmade goods, searchable by state, type, and business model. Each store page explains how the store operates (consignment, wholesale, rental space) and how to pitch them.

For event organizers

How do I list my farmers market or craft fair on VendorsMap?

+

Create a free organizer account, submit your event details, and VendorsMap will verify and publish it. You can manage vendor applications, message vendors, and accept booth payments through a single dashboard. Listing events and collecting applications is free. The only fee is 4% on booth payments processed through the platform via Stripe Connect.

How are events verified?

+

Every event submission is reviewed by the VendorsMap team before it goes live. Submissions without a verifiable organizer, address, or event date are rejected. See the Trust and Safety page for the full policy on fraud prevention.

Can I collect booth fees through VendorsMap?

+

Yes. Organizers connect a Stripe account and collect booth payments directly through the platform when they approve vendor applications. VendorsMap holds funds until the event completes, then releases them to the organizer minus a 4% platform fee. All booth fee payments must be processed through VendorsMap — off-platform payments (Venmo, PayPal, cash, etc.) are prohibited and are not covered by our fraud protection.

Comparisons

How does VendorsMap compare to Eventeny?

+

VendorsMap charges a flat $40 per year Membership for full directory access with no per-application fees. Eventeny is primarily an organizer-side event management tool and the events listed on it often charge vendors per-application fees set by each organizer. VendorsMap is map-first and covers every event type (farmers markets, craft fairs, festivals, pop-ups) regardless of which platform the organizer uses internally. See the full comparison at vendorsmap.com/compare/eventeny.

How does VendorsMap compare to Zapplication?

+

Zapplication focuses on juried art and craft shows and charges per-application fees, typically 5 to 50 dollars per application. VendorsMap charges a flat $40 per year Membership with no per-application fees, covers all event categories, and presents events on an interactive map rather than a text-based directory. A vendor applying to even three or four juried shows a year on ZAPP would already spend more in application fees than a full year of VendorsMap Membership. See the full comparison at vendorsmap.com/compare/zapplication.

How does VendorsMap compare to FestivalNet?

+

FestivalNet is a long-running directory that charges vendors an annual subscription for access to vendor leads. VendorsMap is also a paid Membership ($40 per year) but uses an interactive map instead of a paginated directory, covers farmers markets and consignment stores in addition to festivals, and includes Scam Protection that reimburses up to $500 per incident if a listed event turns out to be a scam. See the full comparison at vendorsmap.com/compare/festivalnet.

Privacy and payments

What does it cost to use VendorsMap?

+

VendorsMap Membership is $40 per year for vendors and unlocks the full directory: booth fees, application deadlines, organizer contact info, full event details, the Application Library with AI-drafted starter answers, weekly match digests, member alerts, and the Scam Protection guarantee. Without a Membership you can still browse the map and view 7 events per month for free before being asked to subscribe. Membership is a tax-deductible business expense for self-employed vendors. Event organizers can list events for free; if they choose to collect booth payments through Stripe Connect, a 4% platform fee applies on the transaction.

How does VendorsMap make money?

+

VendorsMap Membership at $40 per year for vendors is the primary revenue. We also charge a 4% platform fee on booth payments organizers choose to process through Stripe Connect, and offer paid promotion tiers for organizers who want featured map placement and email blast inclusion. We do not run third-party ads and do not sell vendor data.

Does VendorsMap sell vendor data?

+

No. VendorsMap does not sell vendor contact information. See the Privacy Policy at vendorsmap.com/privacy for details on what data is collected and how it is used.
