About VendorsMap

What is VendorsMap?

VendorsMap is a free, map-first marketplace that helps artisan vendors, farmers, food producers, crafters, and food truck operators find places to sell. It lists 4,800+ farmers markets, craft fairs, festivals, and pop-up events across all 50 US states plus Washington DC, along with 690+ consignment stores that accept handmade goods.

Is VendorsMap really free?

Yes. It is free for vendors to browse, search, save, and apply to events. It is also free for event organizers to list their events and collect applications. The only fee is a 4% platform fee that applies when an organizer chooses to collect booth payments through the platform via Stripe Connect. If you handle payments yourself, VendorsMap is completely free on both sides.

Which states does VendorsMap cover?

All 50 US states plus Washington DC. Coverage is deepest in California, New York, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, Georgia, and North Carolina, but every state has events listed and more are added every week.

Who runs VendorsMap?

VendorsMap is operated by Livingtech LLC. It started as a New England farmers market and craft fair directory and expanded nationwide based on demand from vendors.

For vendors

How do I find farmers markets or craft fairs near me?

Open the interactive map at vendorsmap.com/map, allow location access or enter a zip code, and browse the pins near you. You can filter by event type (farmers market, craft fair, festival, pop-up), date range, fee, and whether food trucks are welcome. Click any pin to see full event details, deadlines, and how to apply.

How do I apply to events on VendorsMap?

Some events let you apply directly on VendorsMap with a single application profile. The Apply Here badge on the map indicates this. For events that use their own application system, VendorsMap links out to the organizer's application page. Either way, browsing and finding events is free.

Do I need an account to browse events?

No. Anyone can browse the map, search events, and see event details without signing up. You only need a free account if you want to save events, get notified when new events appear in your area, or apply to events that use the platform's built-in application system.

Can food truck operators use VendorsMap?

Yes. VendorsMap has dedicated support for food trucks. You can filter the map to show only events that welcome food trucks, and events can list how many food truck slots are available.

How do I get notified when new events are added near me?

Create a free vendor account and set your home location. VendorsMap sends plain-text email alerts when new events matching your location and interests are approved on the platform.

Can I sell handmade goods through a consignment store?

Yes. VendorsMap has a directory of 690+ consignment stores that accept handmade goods, searchable by state, type, and business model. Each store page explains how the store operates (consignment, wholesale, rental space) and how to pitch them.

For event organizers

How do I list my farmers market or craft fair on VendorsMap?

Create a free organizer account, submit your event details, and VendorsMap will verify and publish it. You can manage vendor applications, message vendors, and accept booth payments through a single dashboard. Listing events and collecting applications is free. The only fee is 4% on booth payments processed through the platform via Stripe Connect.

How are events verified?

Every event submission is reviewed by the VendorsMap team before it goes live. Submissions without a verifiable organizer, address, or event date are rejected. See the Trust and Safety page for the full policy on fraud prevention.

Can I collect booth fees through VendorsMap?

Yes. Organizers can connect a Stripe account and collect booth payments directly through the platform when they approve vendor applications. VendorsMap holds funds until the event completes, then releases them to the organizer minus a 4% platform fee. Organizers who prefer to handle payments off-platform can do that for free.
