Terms of Service
Last updated: August 7, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VendorsMap ("the Service"), operated by VendorsMap LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VendorsMap is a product of VendorsMap LLC, an online marketplace connecting vendors with event organizers across the country. We provide a platform for discovering farmers markets, craft fairs, festivals, and pop-up events, and for managing vendor applications to these events.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may register as a Vendor (seeking booth opportunities) or an Event Organizer (listing events). Each role has different capabilities and responsibilities on the platform.
4. Event Listings
Event Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, including dates, locations, booth fees, and available spots. VendorsMap does not guarantee the accuracy of any event information posted by third parties.
Featured listings may appear with enhanced visibility on the platform. VendorsMap reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms.
Organizer & Store Owner Responsibilities
When you list an event or claim a store on VendorsMap, you are agreeing to operate it on-platform. Specifically, you confirm:
- Your listing is real and accurate. The event or store is currently operating. Dates, location, booth fees, and vendor requirements reflect actual conditions. Dead, cancelled, or long-closed events are not permitted.
- Applications and messaging stay on VendorsMap. You will not direct vendors to external application forms, email-based applications, Google Forms, or third-party platforms. When a vendor applies, reply through the in-platform messaging system on your dashboard.
- Booth fees are collected through VendorsMap. If you charge a booth fee, it goes through our Stripe integration. Requesting payment via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, cash, check, or any off-platform channel is a violation and a common scam vector.
- No off-platform contact CTAs in your description. Your event or store description will not contain language directing vendors to email you, call you, or visit an external website to apply. Contact information belongs in your contact field, not the public description, and is not a substitute for the on-platform application flow.
- You will honor applications in good faith. Respond to applicants within a reasonable time. Do not accept and then ghost vendors. Do not reject applicants on the basis of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- You will refund vendors if you cancel. If you cancel the event or meaningfully change terms (date, location, fee) after accepting applications and payment, you will refund affected vendors through the platform.
- VendorsMap may edit or remove your listing. We may trim off-platform CTAs from your description, fix obvious inaccuracies, or remove the listing entirely if it violates these rules. Repeat violations result in account termination.
We enforce these rules because every scam we have seen on this platform started with an organizer routing vendors off-site. By keeping activity on VendorsMap, vendors get scam protection and you get a full record of applications and payments.
5. Vendor Applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Event Organizers retain full discretion over which vendors they accept. VendorsMap is not a party to any agreement between vendors and event organizers.
Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
This section is the end user license agreement covering the auto-renewing subscriptions sold in the VendorsMap mobile apps and on vendorsmap.com. Browsing events is free. A subscription is optional and adds features on top.
What we sell:
- Vendor Membership, for makers who sell at markets. On vendorsmap.com it is $45 for a one year subscription, or $15 for a one month subscription. In the iPhone and Android apps the price is set per store and is shown to you before you confirm; the App Store currently sells the year at $65. Members get organizer contact details, priority on applications, first access to new markets, the markets matched to what they make, and the booth business tools.
- Insider, for shoppers. $19 for a one year subscription, or $2 for a one month subscription.
- Organizer Pro and Organizer Expert, for the people running markets. Pro is $15 per month or $99 per year. Expert is $39 per month or $299 per year. These are sold and managed on vendorsmap.com only, and are not available as an in-app purchase.
How billing works in the iOS and Android apps:
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage the subscription, see its renewal date, or turn off auto-renew at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue or reverse a store charge. If something has gone wrong, email us anyway and we will help you sort it out with them.
- Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, its length and price are shown before you buy. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Prices are in US dollars on the US storefront. In other storefronts the store converts to local currency and the price you see before confirming is the price you pay.
Subscriptions bought on the website are billed through Stripe on the same renewing terms, and you can cancel from your dashboard at any time. A cancellation stops the next renewal and leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for.
Booth fees, application fees and event tickets are not subscriptions. They are one-time payments for a real-world service, a physical booth or entry at a physical event, and they are paid to the organizer through Stripe. VendorsMap takes a 2% platform fee. Refunds for those are the organizer's to give, through the platform.
Your privacy is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on VendorsMap. That covers anything hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, discriminatory or deliberately deceptive, wherever you can type: reviews, messages, applications, profiles and event listings.
We screen reviews automatically before they publish, and every review and message can be reported. You can also block another person outright, from their profile or from a conversation, which stops them contacting you. We read every report and remove content that breaks these rules. Post this kind of content and we will remove it and may end your account without warning.
7. Intellectual Property
The VendorsMap name, logo, and platform design are the property of VendorsMap. Content you upload (photos, descriptions, etc.) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
VendorsMap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes between vendors and event organizers, nor for any losses arising from the use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You can delete your own account at any time from your profile settings, in the app or on the web, without asking us first. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel that in your store account settings.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
