Vendor Events in Westford, MA

Sustainable Westford - Westford Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday afternoon from June through late October at the Westford Town Common, centrally located where Main Street, Lincoln Street, and Boston Road converge. This weekly farmers market brings together local producers and growers who stock the market with fresh seasonal produce, baked goods, dairy products like cheese and eggs, flowers, seafood, and other artisan items. The Tuesday afternoon timing from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM makes it convenient for shoppers heading home from work or running midweek errands. As a farmers market rather than a general craft fair or pop-up, Sustainable Westford emphasizes direct relationships between producers and customers, with vendors typically focusing on food, agriculture, and farm-based products. The market's name reflects its commitment to sustainable practices and local sourcing. Shoppers at weekly farmers markets like this tend to be home cooks looking for ingredients for dinner preparation, families seeking fresh options, and community members interested in supporting local agriculture. The summer and fall season, running from mid-June through late October, aligns with peak growing season in Massachusetts, meaning vendors stock the widest variety and highest quality seasonal items during these months. The market accepts multiple payment methods including credit cards, making transactions seamless for modern shoppers. It also participates in federal nutrition assistance programs including SNAP and EBT benefits, WIC, WIC Cash, and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program funds. This accessibility ensures that vendors can reach a broad cross-section of the Westford community. For vendors, the established location at the Town Common provides consistent foot traffic and visibility, while the weekly schedule offers reliable, recurring sales opportunities throughout the growing season.
