The Port Clinton Walleye Festival is a premier five-day outdoor market festival held over Memorial Day weekend at Waterworks Park on Lake Erie's shores. The event features over 130 vendors from across the nation selling food, merchandise, crafts and carnival items, alongside free live concerts, a Grand Parade, Kids Fishing Derby, carnival rides, and educational activities. Organized by Main Street Port Clinton, a 501c3 nonprofit, the festival celebrates the region's famous walleye fishing heritage and serves as the official summer kickoff. Food and merchandise vendors apply separately, with the festival drawing thousands of visitors daily seeking dining options, local products and family entertainment. The event is free admission and annually generates significant economic impact for downtown Port Clinton.
