Vendor Events in Kemptville, ON

The Kemptville Farmers Market brings together local producers, farmers, and artisans every week during the growing season, running from May through October 2026 in Kemptville, Ontario. As a member of Farmers Markets Ontario, this weekly market reflects the regional commitment to supporting local food systems and small-scale producers. The market operates on a seasonal schedule that aligns with Ontario's harvest calendar, meaning vendor variety and available products shift throughout the five-month run, from early spring greens and seedlings in May through to late-season root vegetables, preserves, and prepared foods in October. Farmers markets like Kemptville's draw a mixed vendor base that typically includes vegetable and fruit growers, bakers, meat and dairy producers, value-added food makers, and local artisans. You'll find the market appealing whether you specialize in produce, baked goods, honey, maple products, crafts, flowers, plants, or other locally-made items. The weekly format creates a regular customer base of residents who rely on the market as their primary source for fresh, local goods throughout the season. Attendees tend to be shoppers who prioritize knowing where their food comes from, supporting their community, and accessing products that aren't always available in conventional retail settings. What makes Kemptville's farmers market distinctive is its stable membership in the larger Farmers Markets Ontario network, which means consistent promotion and organizational standards. The weekly rhythm (rather than monthly or bi-weekly events) helps build customer loyalty and allows vendors to establish regular relationships with their shoppers. If you're looking to reach health-conscious consumers, food-focused households, and people committed to supporting local agriculture and small businesses, a seasonal farmers market like Kemptville's offers a solid venue to build a loyal customer base from May through fall.
