At Cloudy Soap, we craft all-natural, eco-friendly handmade bar soaps using a traditional cold-process method. We also offer carefully curated soap sets paired with custom wooden soap dishes. Our journey officially began in December 2024 in Richmond, Virginia. Over the years, we have grown from a local passion project into a dedicated e-commerce brand delivering small-batch, skin-friendly luxury across North America. Our work stands out because we focus on transforming an everyday chore into a mindful ritual of comfort, beauty, and renewal. Unlike mass-market drugstore bars that rely on synthetic detergents and sulfates that strip away your skin's natural moisture, Cloudy Soap is defined by: A 100% Plant-Based Base: Every bar is handmade in small batches using ultra-nourishing, cold-pressed oils and butters—specifically coconut, olive, apricot, avocado, and rich shea butter. True Soap Chemistry: Because we use the authentic cold-process method, the natural glycerin created during the soapmaking process stays inside the bar to deeply condition your skin while you cleanse. Zero Harsh Additives: All of our bars are entirely vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, artificial dyes, or synthetic fragrances. We scent our products strictly with pure, real essential oils or natural coffee grounds. Artisanal Care: Each individual bar is carefully poured, cut, and allowed to cure for 4 to 6 weeks to guarantee a hard, long-lasting bar that yields a thick, creamy lather.
