The Sweet Story Bakehouse

The Sweet Story Bakehouse was born during a season when baking became much more than a hobby for our family. After our three-year-old son suffered a stroke and our family relocated to the Denver area for his ongoing care and therapy, I found myself returning to the kitchen as a place of comfort, creativity, and connection. What started as baking for the people I love grew into something I wanted to share with our new community. The Sweet Story specializes in handcrafted sourdough cinnamon rolls, including creative seasonal and specialty flavors, along with other small-batch sourdough favorites. Everything is made from scratch in our Arvada home kitchen with the same care I would put into something made for my own family. The name “The Sweet Story” reflects what this little bakehouse means to us: even during the hardest chapters of life, there are still sweet moments worth creating, sharing, and celebrating. We hope our baked goods get to become a small part of those moments for other families, too.
