El’s Sourdough

Hi, I'm Siddhi, the baker behind El's Sourdough! When our family moved from Chicago to the Indy area, we left behind more than our old neighborhood. We also left behind a dear friend who baked sourdough bread for us every week. My daughter wouldn't eat any other bread, so in September 2025, I decided to learn to make it myself. That's when Eloise, my sourdough starter, was born. What began as a mom trying to keep her daughter happy turned into a true love for the craft. A little over a year later, Eloise is lively, a little temperamental, and the heart of everything I bake. Every loaf is slow-fermented, handmade in small batches, and made with simple ingredients, just like the bread that started it all. Now I get to share it with our new community here in Fishers.
