Our story
I'm Jewell Vold, chef and founder of Jewell's Jamzz, a small-batch catering and confections company in Shawnee, Kansas, serving the Kansas City metro since 2016. I started as a single mom using the jam as an escape from domestic violence. COVID shut me down, and I reopened and re-branded four years later in March, 2024 with my husband’s encouragement and two new kiddos. I make gluten-free and vegan jams, artisan chocolates, candy, and curated charcuterie and dessert tables for weddings, corporate events, and holiday gifting, plus giftable jam trios and mini favors for guests. At markets I sell jams, holiday gift boxes, chocolates, and cake pops from a licensed kitchen, and I also teach hands-on charcuterie classes. Weddings grew from 3 in 2025 to 11 in 2026, with repeat corporate clients across the metro. I’m a fierce mom of three, with a mission to leave the world better than I found it.
