My name is Jesse Pena RN, BSN, CLT I have been a registered nurse for 23 yrs and through out that experience with all types of patients and just like cancer, diabetes does not discriminate.... As a registered nurse I felt the responsibility to help educate our communities and bring down our statistics. 1 in 3 people are diagnosed with diabetes today .....there is also an alarming 30% increase of prediabetic screening in our schools, what is going on???? education and attention to knowledge deficits are crucial at this time to bring light to this debilitating diabetes epidemic consuming our loved ones and entire community at an alarming rate....
