Heart Berry Studio

Heart Berry Studio is an Edmonton-based studio owned and operated by Métis artist Jamie Mulder. I handcraft heirloom-quality Métis textile arts, fine seed beadwork, and wearable winter accessories, blending traditional cultural heritage with contemporary design. My work centers on authentic and land-based materials—including fine glass seed beads (size 11/0), natural fur trims, hand-dyed caribou hair tufting, and Melton wool. Key offerings include intricate floral medallion brooches and pop-culture pins, beaded earrings, winter mittens, and finger-woven sashes. I have been selling my work for a little over 3 years, exhibiting publicly across Edmonton markets, galleries, and community installations, including having original artwork acquired for the Alberta Foundation for the Arts permanent collection. What makes my work special is its deep connection to Métis storytelling, meticulous archival craftsmanship, and a commitment to preserving traditional techniques through every handcrafted piece.
