Dipie

Based in New York, I am Domenick Di Pietrantonio, working as the multidisciplinary visual artist DiPie. With a BFA in Computer Art from SVA, my practice is a fusion of classical techniques and advanced digital fabrication. My signature work consists of intricate, site-specific light installations, most notably complex, illuminated polyhedral sculptures. These multi-medium lightworks utilize a variety of backlit and faux stained-glass panels, which I decorate with styles ranging from playful, character-driven illustrations to vibrant, urban-graffiti patterns. Complementing these larger pieces, I create functional, customizable 3D-printed art and desktop accessories, such as modular pen caddies featuring interactive, removable letter boards for personalized messaging. My distinctive work bridges the worlds of fine art, innovative technology, and contemporary visual culture.
