I am to create pieces that contain undertones of Greek mythology into everyday life. Particularly the nymphs- water naiads and wood nymphs are my 'mischievous spark' that inspired me to start merging the blending of crochet, hardware elements, whimsical designs (or) items, and gothic inspiration of the late baroque period into a magical world of rhu jewelry. My style is whimsical/fairy/goth mash ups to create one-of-a-kind pieces for the myriads of individuals there are in this world. Drawing inspiration from my mother and Grandma, its because of them, I am. Earrings: a collection of crochet, wire wrap, hammered, and clip ons. Necklaces: chainmail mash ups, crocheted chokers, hammered and gem embedded statement pieces. Bracelets: hammered and wire wrap bracelets, crochet & chainmail. Micro Crochet: All crochet elements are designed, created and executed by my mother. She makes the crochet elements I use for earrings, bracelets and chokers. Rings: wire wrapped sterling silver rings with a variety of gems, stones and (on occasion) precious gems. Wrapped and weaved pendants: mostly labradorite pendants. A combination of weaved, chainmail baskets, and braided containers around the stones.
