Our story
Everyone calls me Ms. Artsy Fartsy, but my real name is Aleshia McDonald. I'm an artist, author, and maker. From original paintings and fiber arts to colorful stained glass and mosaics, I love creating things that bring a little more joy into everyday life. I'm best known for my original paintings of sheep, goats, donkeys and cows with real wool locks added to the canvas for their forelocks. I call it art you CAN touch! Each wool piece is needle felted by hand and I often incorporate needle felted flowers and insects into the piece. All wool pieces are attached to the canvas with strong magnets so they can be easily removed for cleaning, keeping the wool fresh and fluffy!
