Vendor Events in Verona, WI

This weekly farmers market runs Tuesday afternoons from May through early October in the heart of Verona, Wisconsin, making it a convenient destination for locals looking for fresh, locally-sourced food and produce. Set up at 306 S. Main St, the market operates during late afternoon hours from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing people to stop by after work or school to pick up items for the evening meal or week ahead. The timing and location on Main Street position it as both a practical shopping stop and a community gathering spot as the seasons change from late spring through fall. You'll find the typical array of what farmers markets in the Dane County area offer: seasonal vegetables, fresh eggs, baked goods, honey, jams, and preserves from local vendors who either grow or produce these items themselves. Flowers are also commonly available, especially during the warmer months. Since the market runs through October, you can expect to see spring greens and early vegetables in May and June, then summer crops and stone fruits mid-season, and fall harvests like squash, apples, and root vegetables as the market winds down in September and early October. The vendor mix tends to reflect what's growing in Wisconsin gardens and farms during these months. The Verona Farmers' Market accepts WIC (Women, Infants, and Children program benefits), WIC Cash, and Senior FMNP vouchers, which expands access for shoppers using these programs to purchase eligible items like fresh produce. This makes the market an inclusive option for a range of community members. If you're a vendor interested in selling produce, baked goods, honey, flowers, or other farm products, this regular weekly market is worth considering as a consistent sales opportunity throughout the main growing season.
