Vendor Events in Renfrew, ON

Every December, the community of Renfrew gathers for a seasonal celebration that brings together some of the Ottawa Valley's most talented food producers, makers, and artisans under one roof. Taste of the Valley - Renfrew Holiday 2026 takes place on December 12 at the Renfrew Armouries, a spacious indoor venue that provides the perfect setting for holiday shopping and discovering local goods. With over 50 vendors participating, this festival offers a curated selection of products that reflect the region's agricultural heritage and creative spirit. The event draws a mix of vendors typical of a regional holiday festival: local food producers offering jams, baked goods, and specialty foods; craft makers selling handmade gifts, home decor, and seasonal items; and artisans showcasing their work. Whether you're a baker, chocolatier, soap maker, or jewelry artisan, this is the kind of venue where customers actively seek out unique, locally-made alternatives to mass-produced holiday gifts. The festival atmosphere encourages browsing and discovery, with shoppers moving between vendors looking for one-of-a-kind items and quality local products that make meaningful presents. This timing in mid-December positions the event as a prime shopping opportunity for those finishing their holiday gift lists while supporting local businesses. The Renfrew Armouries location on Raglan Street provides an accessible indoor setting for both vendors and visitors during the winter season, eliminating weather concerns that outdoor markets might face. As an annual event, Taste of the Valley - Renfrew Holiday has likely built a loyal following of both regular vendors and repeat shoppers who return each year. For makers and producers considering this festival, it represents a dedicated holiday shopping crowd in the Ottawa Valley region looking specifically for locally-made and artisanal goods to give as gifts or keep for themselves.
