Located at Southwest Plaza in Littleton, this weekly farmers market operates Saturday mornings from May through October, drawing both regular shoppers and vendors looking to build a loyal customer base. The market runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM each Saturday, giving you a solid four-hour window to engage with customers during peak shopping hours. The season spans from early May through the end of October, which means you'll catch the tail end of spring produce through fall harvests, with summer being the strongest attendance period for most farmers markets in the Colorado Front Range. The vendor mix reflects a strong emphasis on food and produce, with farmers bringing seasonal vegetables, fruits, and herbs throughout the growing season. Beyond fresh produce, you'll find established vendors selling baked goods, artisanal cheeses, eggs, seafood, and other value-added food products. Many vendors also bring flowers and plants during spring and early summer months, and craft vendors round out the market's offerings. The market's acceptance of SNAP/EBT benefits means you're reaching a diverse customer base with real purchasing power, and the credit card infrastructure suggests a relatively efficient checkout experience for shoppers. The presence of organic products at the market indicates that health-conscious consumers are part of the regular crowd, which can be important for positioning your products and pricing strategy. This Littleton location in Jefferson County serves a well-established suburban community with decent foot traffic on weekend mornings. Southwest Plaza itself is a recognizable shopping destination, which can help draw walk-up customers beyond those who specifically came for the farmers market. If you're selling food products, produce, prepared items, or craft goods, the Saturday morning time slot and extended season give you consistent opportunities to test products, build relationships with regular customers, and establish yourself as a reliable vendor in the local market.
