Vendor Events in King George, VA

Northern Neck farmers market operating seasonally from late spring through fall, the King George Farmers' Market brings together local growers and food producers at 10381 Ridge Road in King George, VA 22485. The weekly Saturday morning market runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, giving shoppers a regular opportunity to source fresh, locally-grown produce and artisanal food products directly from vendors. Typical offerings at this farmers market include seasonal vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, farm-fresh eggs, locally-caught seafood, and culinary herbs. The rotating seasonal selection means spring and early summer bring tender greens and asparagus, while mid to late summer features tomatoes, zucchini, and berries. As fall approaches, root vegetables, squashes, and late-season greens become the focus. Beyond produce, many vendors offer value-added items like jams, honey, baked breads, and prepared foods that appeal to shoppers looking for farm-to-table ingredients or ready-to-eat options. Flowers and plants round out the typical offerings, making the market a destination for both groceries and garden additions. The market accepts multiple payment methods including credit cards, making transactions convenient for modern shoppers. The market also participates in SNAP and EBT programs, ensuring access for customers using government food assistance benefits. This commitment to accessibility reflects the important role farmers markets play as equitable food sources for the community. Running from April 30 through October 29, the King George Farmers' Market aligns with peak growing season, allowing vendors to offer the highest quality and greatest variety of local products. Whether you're a vendor looking to establish a regular Saturday presence or expand your market rotation, or a shopper seeking consistent access to local food sources, this weekly market provides a stable venue in King George County during the warmer months.
