Buffalo Bill Days is Golden's largest community festival, a three-day celebration of Western heritage held in July. This family-friendly event features approximately 100 vendor booths offering crafts, merchandise, food, and beverages in Parfet Park. Vendors benefit from strong foot traffic, with the event drawing 30,000-40,000 visitors over the weekend. Beyond the marketplace, Buffalo Bill Days includes a signature parade through downtown, live music, children's rides, a pancake breakfast, car shows, Wild West reenactments, and mutton busting competitions. The festival is free to attend and draws both locals and regional visitors interested in authentic Western heritage experiences.

Now in its 36th year, the Golden Fine Arts Festival is a prestigious two-day juried art show held at Parfet Park in historic downtown Golden, Colorado. Visitors enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, craft beers, and wine in a free-admission, family-friendly environment.
