The Corvallis Indoor Winter Market is one of western Oregon's oldest weekly indoor winter markets, operating as a nonprofit founded in the early 1990s by artisans and farmers. Held every Saturday in Guerber Hall at the Benton County Fairgrounds from January through April, the market offers locally grown produce, artisan baked goods, eggs, honey, meats and poultry, and handcrafted items including artist drawings and jewelry. The market accepts vendors from a six-county area (Benton, Linn, Lincoln, Lane, Marion and Polk counties) with priority given to farmers and food producers. The board evaluates applications to ensure vendor diversity and market quality. Operating hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market features a covered facility protecting patrons from winter weather while supporting local artisans and producers during the off-season when outdoor markets are closed.
