My name is Xavier D. Hamlin, and I am a self-published author and the founder of Bliss by Zay, a growing handcrafted candle brand based in Staten Island, New York. I am the author of Mirrors of Me: Learning Who I Am Through Love and Life, a personal and inspiring book that explores self-discovery, healing, love, family, and personal growth. Published in July 2026, my book was created to encourage readers to reflect on their own life experiences and embrace their journey toward becoming the best version of themselves. Alongside my writing, I am building Bliss by Zay, a handcrafted soy wax candle brand focused on relaxation, self-care, and meaningful experiences. As I begin this exciting journey, I am introducing my candle collection through samples and gathering customer feedback to help refine my fragrances and products before my official launch. My goal is to create candles that bring comfort, peace, and a touch of luxury into everyday life. I recently participated in my first vendor market, which was a wonderful learning experience and an opportunity to connect with customers and fellow small business owners. I am excited to continue growing as an entrepreneur, sharing my creativity, and participating in community events, holiday markets, book fairs, and pop-up shops. Through both my writing and candle-making, my mission is to inspire others, create meaningful connections, and offer products made with love, purpose, and intention.
