Art by WAG

Wanda is a native of England, where she attended The Sir John Cass school of art and the Central St Martins school of art Having followed her heart, she ran away and joined the Circus. For 35 years she performed as an acrobat, charming audiences from Beijing to Berlin. When she retired, she found there was a huge void in her that only her original love of the arts could fill Her paintings represent a world where people and animals from diverse societies come together. They live, work, and thrive with trust and at peace in a traveling village called "Circus" Her work expresses years of memories performing in this amazing culture. She has taken these memories, combined them with acrylic paint and laid them on canvas. Her love of bright palpable colors is well suited to her style of art For the last few years Wanda has been exploring other memories, memories of her childhood, growing up in the Kentish countryside, playing in forests and fields with her brother and twin sister.
