Our story
My journey with kombucha began as it has for so many others, by learning about its history and health benefits after hearing the 'kombucha' name for the first time. After buying and sampling a number of bottles from different brewers, I started making my own. Soon, we were sharing it with family, friends and visitors to our farm. I realized that I was onto something special when those who drank it preferred it to the other kombuchas they had consumed. It took me several more years of fine tuning the mix to get to what I now bottle and sell under the name VSOM Kombucha. VSOM stands for Vacation State Of Mind because most of the organic fruit juices I use are from tropical fruits, the same juices we enjoy when we've travelled to some sun drenched part of the world in search of R&R. I think it's a shame to only enjoy these fruit juices while we're on vacation. Why not be able to have a little taste of that island feeling every day while also doing something good for our bodies?
