Our story
Fandom Void is a two-artist team: Vee, a burned-out nurse and Oscar, a creative software developer looking for a change. We create art on a small scale: custom press-on nails, jewelry, prints, and 3D-printed creations that are inspired by pop culture, horror, nerdy fandoms, and all things odd and macabre.
Each set of nails is prepped, painted, and any 3D points are sculpted by hand. These are original designs created by Vee (one owner of FandomVoid). All accessories are created by hand, one by one, from resin, air dry or polymer clay. Linocut prints are original art pieces that are sketched and then reversed to be transfered to lino block and carved before printing by either Vee or Oscar. 3D print designs are designed in FreeCAD and Blender then printed in ABS, PLA, or resin. Sanding, painting and any assembly is done by hand. The exception is some frames for art pieces are printed from existing free license files that are then fainted by the artists. The main subject of these items is the original print, the frame is just the display vessel. Most of these files are modified before printing or redesigned to fit our needs from the ground up.
