Our story

Yume’s Yum Yums is a military spouse-owned cottage bakery based in Killeen, Texas, specializing in handcrafted Asian-inspired sweets. Founded by a Laotian mother of three, our bakery is named after our daughter Yumeko—our little Yume, or “dream.” Each treat draws inspiration from the familiar flavors of Asia. We combine bold, nostalgic flavors with thoughtfully balanced sweetness to turn an ordinary bite into a sweet little daydream—one that brings you back to a favorite place, memory, or feeling. Our signature offerings include Ube Coconut Cake Pops; Saigon After Dark, a marbled Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk cookie; Salted Gold, a kinako toffee dark chocolate chip cookie; and matcha cookies accented with edible rose petals and gold. Our Saigon After Dark cookie recently won the baking contest at Made in Texas Fest. We also offer a sushi-inspired dessert flight featuring miniature sponge cakes in Ube Coconut, Strawberry Lychee, and Black Sesame Vanilla. Finished with coconut to resemble sushi rolls and paired with Pocky “chopsticks,” these playful desserts reflect our love of combining flavor with imaginative presentation. Through local markets and custom orders, we introduce customers to ingredients such as ube, kinako, matcha, and black sesame in approachable, memorable ways. Our elegant, whimsical bunny-themed brand invites guests to explore, ask questions, and find a new favorite. We hope to bring a curated selection of our Asian-inspired sweets and a welcoming booth that celebrates the connection between food, family, and culture. Whether guests are discovering a new flavor or returning to an old favorite, we hope each bite brings a little joy and something delicious to dream about.
