Our story

Cree-ative Crocheting is my Métis-owned business, which I’ve been operating for approximately 14 years. I create handmade crochet clothing, accessories, and unique statement pieces, along with upcycled clothing. My work includes hats, scarves, mitts, sweaters, ponchos, skirts, crop tops, and more, with designs inspired by Métis culture, the Medicine Wheel, Pride, and other meaningful themes. TJ’s Plastics is my son Thomas’s 3D printing business, and he’ll be entering his third season this Christmas. His main focus is fandom and cosplay, creating items inspired by popular movies, games, and characters, including Harry Potter wands, lightsabers, cosplay props, dragons, and other collectibles. He also makes fidgets and is beginning to explore RC-related projects. As a Métis mother-and-son team, we bring two different creative talents to the market. From handmade crochet fashion to 3D-printed fandom collectibles and cosplay pieces, our work offers customers unique creations they won’t typically find in big-box stores. We take pride in our creativity, attention to detail, and being part of our local maker community.
