I paint found objects like wooden bowls, candles, etc. There are also some handmade items. These artworks feature hand painted wooden vessels featuring bold, playful patterns and a strong sense of movement. The pieces combine bright primary colors with geometric shapes, dots, stripes, curved lines, and abstract symbols. The vessels have a distinctly folk-art and contemporary abstract quality. Rather than treating the bowls as purely functional objects, the surfaces become spaces for visual experimentation. Circles, triangles, arches, flowers, faces, and repeated marks overlap and interact across the curved forms. The designs wrap around the vessels, encouraging the viewer to look at them from multiple angles.
