The Smash Man

The SMASHMAN is Abbotsford-based live catering for weddings, parties, and corporate events across the Lower Mainland. Chef-owner Suraj Gill — 15 years in restaurant kitchens — launched the company in summer 2026 with his family crew. We cook Oklahoma-style smash burgers fresh in front of your guests (shaved onions smashed into every patty, Canadian cheese, brioche buns, house SDF Sauce) and Philly cheesesteaks with grilled onions, mushrooms, and peppers and white Canadian cheese on a seeded Italian roll — plus Grandma Bernice's Mac and Cheese, served buffet style. Dinner and a show — heavy on the onions.
