After working as a website and publications designer for 21 years, I needed to leave the workforce to care for my sick mother. As an 'ocean lover' living in the Chicago area, I started my resin art journey in 2018 teaching myself - through many months of trial and error - to create realistic 3-dimensional ocean and beach coasters. From there, my passion for resin art continued to grow and now includes many other functional items and techniques, including serving bowls, 3-D flower coasters, ocean themed charcuterie boards, trays and wine glasses.
