S&S Threads

S&S Threads is a teen-run business that crochets plushies, home decor, and keychains. All of our products are made from either acrylic or plush yarn. All of these products are cute, modern, and designed to appeal to all ages. So far, we've sold our products at 8 successful markets, making over $4,000 in sales. Some of the many items we make are turtles, bouquets of flowers, bunnies, frogs, jellyfish, whales, octopuses, heart jellycat, pig, chubby duck, macaroon jellycat, tulips, cows, chickens, seals, otters, coasters, bees, baby flower duck, hearts, puff flower keychain, car charms, monkeys, sushi cats, potato, woodstock,  dinosaurs, mallard ducks, and many more. Beyond selling crochet items, our business also focuses on giving back to the community. We regularly donate handmade plushies, toys, and cards to the children at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. In addition, a percentage of our profits is donated to support impoverished children in my home country, Ethiopia, through a nonprofit organization called The Tesfa Project. Participating in markets helps fund these efforts, allowing us to continue supporting both local children and those in need abroad. Because of this, these opportunities mean a lot to us.
