Our story
What You Make
I create trauma‑informed mental health education that integrates the gut‑brain connection, nervous system regulation, and whole‑person healing. My work includes therapy, writing, speaking, and practical tools that help people move from survival into stability, resilience, and purpose.
✨ How Long You’ve Been Doing This
I’ve spent over two decades working in roles that directly support human resilience — from serving as one of the first women on a U.S. Navy combat vessel, to providing trauma therapy in Nepal, to working within the Kansas and Missouri foster care systems, to building a private practice and writing professionally about healing.
✨ What Makes Your Work Special
My work is unique because it blends clinical expertise, lived experience, and whole‑person healing. I bring together the science of the gut‑brain axis, trauma‑informed care, spiritual grounding, and real‑world resilience from military service, motherhood, and global humanitarian work. This combination allows me to teach and support people with a depth, clarity, and relatability that many practitioners don’t have.
