WYN NYC is my little world of things made by hand, with intention, curiosity, and a lot of love for the craft. I create one-of-a-kind leather accessories ranging from handbags, backpacks and totes to chain wallets, passport holders, journals and custom bondage pieces. I also handcraft silver jewelry using traditional wax-carving techniques, create hand-soldered copper lamps and stained-glass ornaments, and give new life to existing pieces through upcycled garments, hand-painted leather jackets and a curated collection of vintage clothing and finds. What I love most about handmade work is that it is never meant to be perfectly perfect. My jewelry is not 3D printed, and my designs are not created by AI. Every piece begins with my own hands, ideas and observations. The small irregularities and marks left behind by the process are what give each piece its character and make it completely original. To me, preserving those details also means helping keep traditional craft alive in an increasingly automated world. WYN NYC is named after my beloved grandmother Winnie, who continues to inspire why I create. The brand carries a simple philosophy: time well spent is a life lived well. I believe in following passion rather than trends, creating from the heart, and trusting that the right people will connect with the work. I’m inspired by the places I travel, the people I meet, the things I notice in everyday life, and the functional needs that make me think, I could design something for that. Teaching has also become an important part of my creative life. For nearly two years, I’ve shared traditional leather-working techniques with beginners, helping pass the craft on to another generation. Whether I’m at a vendor market or teaching a workshop, making genuine connections through design is at the heart of WYN NYC—and continues to fuel everything I create.
