Hello 👋🏾 My name is Ruchi, and I am a henna-mehndi artist, attorney, and published legal scholar. I am born in North Jersey, raised in Central Jersey, and a decade in NYC. Mehndi is my medium and hands are my canvas. My love and passion for the arts stems from my mom, who has a background in textile and graphic design from Mumbai, India. As a first-generation South Asian American, applying mehndi to myself and my family and friends makes me feel closer to my culture. I have been practicing mehndi for 16 years, before sharing my art with the world this summer in June. My designs range from $30-$80 depending on fullness and intricacy. 🌿🧿🤎
