Author Biography Rachel Rose served 30-years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Special Operations Public Affairs Sgt. Maj. A Veteran of five named combat operations, she led strategic communication lines of effort in some of the world’s most complex regions, environments and situations, across the Middle East and Europe. She holds a bachelor's in management, a master's in business, and is a Certified Specialist of Wine with credentials from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Rachel now lives in the greater Tampa Bay area and considers herself a Floridian. Today, she is pursuing her long-held dream of public speaking and writing novels while watching the tide come and go. Her storytelling is inspired by a fusion of historical events and whispered rumors, existing in the gray zone, where the line between fact and fiction blur.
