I am a Unique fiber artist that creates with fibers and driftwood hand collected or wood found in the Mountains. I learned how to weave in 1978 , with a dream of creating an art that no one else has ever done and this dream is very alive and growing now . I use a steel needle fishing line a drill and lots of imagination. I learned how to weave in a little shop that is no longer there in Hermosa Beach California.. my most favorite theme to create is underwater ocean scenes but I also do mountain scenes, all wood I collect has to talk to me or it stays or becomes firewood. The comment that I hear all of the time is “ I ve never seen anything like this before.
