Raizes

I make handmade Brazilian coconut candies under the name Raízes. They come from my family's 100-year-old recipe: the classic coconut candy of every Brazilian childhood, perfected with ginger. I have three versions, sold in packs of 25 for $16: Brown Ginger, White Coconut-Ginger, and Purple Coconut with Butterfly Blue Pea flower, which gives it a natural purple color with no artificial dye. I started selling in October 2026, and in my first weeks I have already sold 16 packs through direct orders. Everything is made by hand by me, in small batches, in my home kitchen under Florida cottage food law, packed in paper bags with full ingredient, allergen and weight labeling. What makes my work special is the story behind it: as a child in Brazil, I passed a small neighborhood store every day on my way to school, where glass candy jars stood at the front — opening a jar to choose a sweet was the best part of the day. My candies bring that memory back, in a handmade product with natural ingredients and no artificial coloring.
