Our story
For over twenty years, Linetta Alexander, mother, mystic, and manifestor, has woven an intricate tapestry of education, art, and activism. Linetta's creative voice is rooted in the Black feminist tradition, shaped by her work as an educator, playwright, director, and cultural facilitator. Her life's work celebrates the richness of Black identity, challenges normative narratives, and creates space for healing and possibility.
She is a poet, playwright, and novelist. Her first novel, Going Back to Fetch It, is a soft sci-fi novel that explores the power of memory while warning readers to consider the impact of disconnecting from the stories of their ancestors.
