Lexi’s Sweet Treats

Lexi’s Sweet Treats is a small, student-owned cottage bakery based in Carbondale, Illinois! After being laid off from my job of five years, I decided to turn my passion for baking into a business and officially started Lexi’s Sweet Treats in June 2026. I specialize in homemade cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate-covered strawberries, cookies, and other sweet treats! I offer custom orders for birthdays, celebrations, and special occasions, along with a variety of freshly made desserts at local farmers markets and community events. As a Southern Illinois University student, I balance my education while continuing to grow my small business. Looking ahead to the 2027 season, I’m excited to expand my business, participate in even more farmers markets, pop-ups, and community events, build new connections, and continue growing alongside the local community!
