🩷 The story behind LSquared Baking Co. 🩷 LSquared came from Leah Laborin—two Ls, or L². But the bakery itself was born during one of the hardest times of my life. When my body was failing me, I created my own sourdough starter. Along with my daughter, I suddenly had another little thing depending on me. My starter needed to be fed, cared for, and kept alive. On the days when getting out of bed was hard, knowing my starter needed me gave me another reason to get up. So I kept feeding it. I kept learning. I kept experimenting. And eventually, I found the courage to build something of my own. Just two weeks after my latest surgery, I had my first vendor event—and I’ve been rocking it ever since. 🩷💪 This summer has forced me to step away from vendor events because of the extreme heat, humidity, and air quality. I’m hoping to return in December. But LSquared isn’t gone. I’m still here. I’m still baking. I’m still building. And maybe that’s the real story behind LSquared Baking Co. Fermented with Intent. 🩷🍞
