Writing Millie Mae’s Bakery is a small, home-based bakery in Chesterfield, Virginia, specializing in handcrafted artisan sourdough breads, freshly baked scones, and thick, chewy bakery-style cookies. We believe the best baked goods are made from scratch, in small batches, using quality ingredients, including organic ingredients whenever possible. We are passionate about supporting our local community and strive to partner with local farmers and small businesses to source as many of our ingredients as possible. Our menu features everything from traditional artisan sourdough loaves to seasonal scones and delicious homemade cookies, each prepared with care and attention to detail. Although Millie Mae’s Bakery is newly established, our love for baking has been growing for years. We take pride in bringing the warmth and goodness of homemade baking to our community while supporting the hardworking farmers and small businesses around us.
