Hi! I’m the proud owner and baker behind Cay’s Confections, a small, woman-owned bakery in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, specializing in handcrafted French macarons! Cay’s Confections is so much more than just a bakery to me. It’s a kid I dream built on passion, determination, and a whole lot of love. I started this journey not only because I love baking, but because I wanted to show my children that dreams really can become reality when you’re willing to pour your heart, time, and hard work into them. I’ve always had a passion for macarons since I was a little girl, I thought they were so cute and learning that they’re difficult to make just gave me the inspiration to do it! Especially for my little girl, I want her to grow up knowing that no dream is too big, no goal is too far out of reach, and that she is capable of creating something amazing if she believes in herself and never gives up. None of this would be possible without my husband, who has supported me and helped turn this dream into something real. His love, encouragement, and belief in me have meant everything throughout this journey. Every macaron I make represents more than just a sweet treat. It represents the late nights, the trial and error, the lessons learned, and the determination to build something I can be proud of. My hope is that one day my children will look back and see that their mom didn’t just dream about doing something she loved, she went after it.
