The Original Earvines trademark is a family-run jewelry house founded by artisan Alexander Simkin, who began handcrafting wire jewelry after immigrating from Ukraine to the U.S. in the late 1980s. In 1989 he created our signature piece, the Earvine®: a single wire that wraps up the back of the ear and slides into place to give the look of multiple piercings while using just one. The design grew out of Alexander's search for a way to get a full, adorned ear without all the extra holes, and it became the foundation for a collection that now spans over 10,000 original designs, including cuffs, dangles, pendants, bracelets and gemstone pieces. Every piece is handmade in-house, with each stone set into an intricate wire weave, so no two are exactly alike. Today Alexander and his son Kyle run the business together, bringing more than 35 years of craftsmanship to shows across the country. Our booth draws a crowd because customers can try Earvines on and see the effect right away, and many become repeat buyers who come back to find us show after show.
