Wearable works of art show off the inside of dried plants, like okra or prickly pear cactus, mixed with colorful resin. Earrings, necklaces, barrettes, bolo ties and more! The process: I gather dried plants from family, friends, and my own backyard, then combine them with colorful resin into large blocks. I slice them open into thinner slabs, uncovering each unique natural pattern inside. Then the hard part begins: deciding the final cuts to turn each slab into wearable art!
