Trees Have Feelings

Trees Have Feelings is a magical forest of whimsical hand-drawn STORY TREES, & songbirds. Using an assortment of pen, ink, charcoal & water color, in what I describes as a "magical process," their form, colors, name, & personal story emerge as each tree does. Until 2019 I did not know, or believe, that I could draw. For 30 years I had been a television producer, writer and direct. My last show, in 2019, was in Phoenix and the work environment was incredibly toxic and dark. To not lose my mind I began doodling on my desk calendar and out of the chaos of the doodle trees emerged. Soon after, my husband closed his business, I left television and we literally followed the trees to WA.
