Jennifer Tull Westberg

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I’ve been creating small, precious objects for as long as I can remember. After earning my BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1990, I moved to New York City’s East Village, where I’ve lived and worked ever since. Years spent as a painter’s assistant and toy prototype maker sharpened my sensitivity to form, surface, and meticulous detail. Since 2016, I’ve worked full-time as a jeweler and artist. In 2024, ceramics became a natural extension of my practice, leading me to work in porcelain and stoneware alongside precious metals and gemstones. I design and fabricate each jewelry piece by hand, with casting done in New York City’s Jewelry District. My ceramic work is wheel-thrown or hand-built, glazed by hand, and often finished with precious-metal overglaze. Every piece is made slowly, intentionally, and entirely by me.
