Our story
Terra Maris means "land and sea," and it's the best way I know to describe where my heart lives. My husband and I split our time between the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the North Shore of Massachusetts, and nearly everything I make is shaped by those two places: granite peaks and pine forests, tide pools and ocean waves, the way a mountain looks reflected in still water.
I've been making things for as long as I can remember, and Terra Maris Studio is my way of sharing that joy beyond my own four walls. (My husband would like you to know that every piece you take home is one less on our kitchen table.)
My main focus is handmade jewelry. I form each pendant by hand in bronze and sterling silver, then pair it with gemstone beads chosen for their color and texture. Alongside my nature-inspired pieces, I create a small collection of Judaica for my tribe. I also work in pottery and bead embroidery, so you'll find the same mountain-and-sea spirit carried through clay, thread, and beads.
Every piece is made in small batches, by my own hands, with the hope that it brings a little of the mountains and the sea into your everyday.
