James Dillehay is a New Mexico fiber artist who weaves and hand-ties original, wearable pieces, each one crafted by a single obsession: color. He works with color every day, chasing a particular sensation—a feeling or mood before there are words for it. When he combines colors and that feeling becomes undeniable, he knows the piece is ready.
