Our story
La Voisin Santa Fe, LLC is a jewelry and fine art studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico, owned by Holly Butler and her child, Charles Butler. Dedicated to high design and exquisite quality, the studio specializes in jewelry, hand-blacksmithed housewares, fine art, and stickers. Many of the studio’s products are contemporary interpretations of historically documented objects. Drawn from paintings, carvings, and other sources, each item is deconstructed, reworked, and repurposed into an exceptional one-of-a-kind piece.
Most of the studio’s jewelry is essentially lace: hand-sewn with needle and thread into delicate spiderweb confections of glass seed beads, dyed cultured pearls, and Swarovski crystals.
The studio’s blacksmithed items are handmade by Charles Butler from recycled steel salvaged from used car springs and files. They range from functional S-hooks for hanging plants and cooking utensils to custom fireplace pokers and incense burners. Each piece is as beautiful as it is functional.

Ms. Butler founded La Voisin Santa Fe as an outlet for her creative impulses. She holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and is licensed to practice architecture in New Mexico and Iowa. In addition to leading La Voisin Santa Fe, she specializes in high-end custom kitchens and baths, with a focus on healthy, sustainable design principles and materials.
